Carmelo Anthony will reportedly continue his career with the Chicago Bulls. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Houston Rockets have reached a deal with the Bulls to send Anthony, rights to Darussafaka wing Jon Diebler plus 1.56 million in exchange for rights to Serbian forward Tadija Dragisevic (currently with ACB club Breogan).

The Rockets wanted to unload Anthony in order to lower their luxury tax. The player hasn’t been active since November 8.

The Bulls are expected to waive Anthony according to multiple reports. The 10-time NBA All-Star can then sign with any team as a free agent once he clears waivers.

The Athletic has reported that the L.A. Lakers could be a potential destination for Anthony.
