Giannis felt that he could contend for the MVP award during the NBA All-Star Game but couldn’t come home with it after his team lost 178-164 to LeBron James’ team on Sunday night.
However, the Greek Freak doesn’t mind at all. “I just tried to play hard and have fun. In my first ASG I was so nervous”, Giannis told the press. “In this, I was relaxed and had my name as the MVP of the third quarter [laughs]”.
Antetokounmpo revealed he wasn’t concerned about being a captain for the first time and didn’t feel overwhelmed by the task. “It’s easy as long as you stay humble and down to earth, it’s easy,” he said.
