Giannis Antetokounmpo: I want to keep shooting the ball

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 27 points, ten rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal in 33 minutes on Saturday. He led the Milwaukee Bucks to the 140-128 home win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but once again stressed his team has to pick it up defensively. “We got to get better defensively. We’re not going to score 140 points every night. I’m happy we won 10 out of 11 games, but we can’t be satisfied and settle down” he said after the 2018-19 NBA Regular Season contest.

The Greek Freak made 9/16 from the field against the Timberwolves including 3/4 shots beyond the arc. He’s sank four three-pointers following the All-Star break and 1.3 per game in February proving he’s getting comfortable in the area he’s struggled throughout his NBA career. “My teammates and the coach want me to shoot the ball and I want to keep shooting the ball. In the playoffs, when it matters the most, hopefully I’ll keep knocking in the shots” he mentioned after the match.
