Second consecutive game with Nikola Jokic facing foul trouble early and second straight home defeat for the Denver Nuggets. On Saturday, the Joker was on the court for just six minutes in the first half and three in the third quarter. He finished with 22 minutes and poured 20 points with 7/11 from the field, but the Nuggets lost to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Besides his 20 points, the 24-year-old Serb big grabbed nine rebounds, dished seven helpers, rejected two shots and stole the ball twice. However, his three quick fouls prevented him from being on the court and hurt his overall effectiveness, which was enough to damage the hosts.

Following the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season game, Jokic said: “We lost two in a row and we have a really tough stretch ahead. We need to stay together, stay focused. We need to think about where we want to go. That’s it”.
