Jokic leads Nuggets to playoffs after six-year drought

For the first time since 2013, the Denver Nuggets are back in the NBA playoffs. With thirteen games to go in the 2018-19 Regular Season they sealed their ticket with the road win against the Boston Celtics on Monday.

Nikola Jokic has been solid throughout the season and scored 21 points at Boston. He also tallied 13 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three blocks in 36 minutes. After the contest he said: “We played a great game tonight offensively and defensively”.

The Joker also talked about securing a playoffs spot for the first time since 2013. “Great accomplishment for the team” he mentioned and added: “We are thirsty. We are hungry. We just want to go there and make something happen”.
