Nikola Jokic posts double-double in ugly loss

They started the road trip with three wins and secured a 2019 NBA playoffs ticket in the process, but the bottom end wasn’t as kind to the Denver Nuggets. Despite Nikola Jokic’s double-double, the Indiana Pacers routed the visiting team and snapped their four-game losing streak with an emphatic 124-88 victory.

The 24-year-old Serb big had 19 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, one steal and a season-high four blocks in 30 minutes. Following the 2018-19 Regular Season contest he said: “We need to be better in everything. We need to forget this game and move forward. We just need to try and win the next game.”
