Winning Wednesday’s game certainly helped, but Giannis Antetokounmpo always finds a way to keep things interesting, even off the court. After the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Detroit Pistons to grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven NBA playoffs first round series, the 24-year-old Greek appeared for the press conference singing the Pink Panther tune.

Antetokounmpo was coming off a 26-point, 12-rebound double-double in 30 minutes of action. He scored 13 of his points during the decisive third period and got some rest. He did show signs of fatigue earlier and some frustration on the court. “The frustration was because my body hurt more” the Greek Freak admitted.

“The coach has done a great job keeping us in low minutes and giving us some rest, especially when we were up 21. The pace was very fast and I was just tired” Antetokounmpo added commenting on the moments he felt exhausted.

He also pointed out: “They did a great job reading which way I was going. It is about will. I knew they were going to put guys in the paint, crowd me. I just tried to have patience.”

He made a three launching a 7-0 spurt in the third quarter and explained: “I have been working on it a lot, It is a part of my game now. My teammates want me to shoot. That one went in and we were able to make a run. I know they are going to give me those shots the whole game. I’ve just got to be able to be mentally prepared and get to my rhythm and take those shots.”
