For the first time after 2000 and the days of European legend Arvydas Sabonis, the Portland Trail Blazers have qualified for the Western Conference Finals after beating on the road the Denver Nuggets on Game 7.

The final score was 100-96 and the hero of the night was CJ McCollum who scored 37 points, had also nine and a big block on closing minutes.

On the other side, Serb big man Nikola Jokic did his best with 29 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks, but he dished just two assists. That’s a crucial part of his game that the Blazers managed to shut down.

Turk Enes Kanter added a double-double for the winning side (12 p. 13 r.), while Damian Lillard finished the night with 13 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals. It was a night to remember for the Blazers who will have to face the Golden State Warriors for a spot in the NBA Finals.
