Raptors gain momentum and lead 2-1 over Warriors

Toronto Raptors grabbed a 123-109 victory against Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals and now they lead 2-1.

The Raptors made big shots en route to the victory, paced by Kawhi Leonard who posted 30 points, seven rebounds, six assists and Marc Gasol who added 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. At the same time, big man Serge Ibaka added six points, six blocks and five rebounds.

Steph Curry’s 47-point performance was outshined with this Toronto victory, while Swedish forward Jonas Jerebko added six points and two rebounds.

The defending champions were lacking Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant in this big battle. Thompson is expected to return for Game 4 that will be played this Friday, June 7, though Durant is still doubtful.
