Bojan Bogdanovic shines with 29 points in Utah’s win

Donovan Mitchell scored 25 points, including the game-winning foul shot with 0.4 seconds left, and the Jazz rallied to beat the Phoenix Suns 96-95 on Bojan Bogdanovic’s big night. The Croatian guard had his best game yet with his new team, scoring 29 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 4 for 8 from 3-point range.

French big man Rudy Gobert had 15 points and 18 rebounds and made 11 of 12 free throws, still, it was Bogdanovic who kept his team alive for most of the game.

In the “Serbian” matchup, the Nuggets beat the Kings 101-94 with Nikola Jokic finishing the game with nine points and 13 rebounds, against 12 points by Nemanja Bjelica and six points by Bogdan Bogdanovic for the losing side.

The Bucks got the 129-112 win over the Cavs with the Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo providing a full stat-line (14 p. 10 r. 7 as. 2 bl.). Turkish forward Ersan Ilyasova added three points and his compatriot Cedi Osman had 10 for the losing side.

German guard Dennis Schroder scored 22 points and Italian forward Danilo Gallinari added 17, but they were not enough as the Rockets beat the Thunder 116-112 behind 40 points by James Harden. Swiss big man Clint Capela had 15 points and seven rebounds for the winning side.

Lithuanian big man Domantas Sabonis had a big night with 21 points and 14 rebounds, however, he didn’t save the day for the Pacers who lost to Pistons 96-94.
