It was just a regular-season game, but still, the end result was impressive.

Slovenian Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to the 114-100 road win over the Lakers with 29 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists.

Latvian Kristaps Porzingis added 15 points and the Dallas Mavericks snapped the Los Angeles Lakers’ 10-game winning streak.

The NBA-leading Lakers had lost only once in 18 games since their season opener.

LeBron James had 25 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as his team dropped to 17-3, while the Mavs moved to 13-6 and remain the most exciting young team of the league thanks to Doncic.

He had 16 points and five assists in the third quarter after going 2 for 9 in the first half. A 28-5 run in the start of the second half turned things around and the Lakers couldn’t react.
