Maccabi Tel Aviv suffered its first defeat against Hapoel Eilat on Saturday in the Israeli League, though NBA 2020 draft prospect Deni Avdija emerged with a new career-high.
19-year-old Avdija posted 26 points on 6/8 2-pointers and 3/4 threes along with six rebounds, though he was off the mark from the free-throw line with 5/13. Still an overall impressive performance from the projected NBA Draft lottery pick.
