Strong third quarter enough for Partizan

Partizan reached the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup with an easy win against Zlatibor 67-54. The black and whites will face Mega Bemax in the semi-finals on Saturday.

After a close first half (32-30) Partizan got the job done in the third period. They stepped up their defense as the opponent had a hard time getting to the basket. Zlatibor was able to score only 8 points in the third quarter and they couldn’t find a rhythm again.

Partizan built 53-38 lead before the the last quarter and didn’t have problems to close the game in a winning way.

Mihailo Andric, Djordje Gagic and Kwame Vaughn participated in Partizan’s victory scoring 10 points each.

On the other side Partizan’s ex-player Bogdan Riznic had 13 points, 7 boards and 2 assists, but couldn’t save the day for Zlatbor.

Earlier today Mega Bemax had an easy job against Dynamic winning that game 94-79 thanks to Goga Bitadze’s double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.
