ASVEL logs tenth win in a row, Strasbourg stuns Dijon

ASVEL routed Metropolitans 92, 81-63, for its tenth straight French league win. Youngster Matthew Strazel fired a team-high 14 points. Moustapha Fall followed with 12 points. Tuesday’s win jumped the hosts to 21-6, currently enough to rank third in the Jeep Elite Pro A.

Strasbourg dug its way out of a double-digit hole in the fourth quarter to beat Dijon, 87-81, in overtime. Bonzie Colson with 30 points and Jaromir Bohacik with 21 starred as their side went up to 18-7. The hosts fell to 23-6 despite Hans Vanwijn scoring 20 points.

Monaco was on the wrong end of a double-digit comeback but edged Bourg, 74-73, to improve its league-leading tally to 21-4. Mathias Lessort logged a team-high 18 points and the game-clinching steal.

In other action, Australian Brock Motum poured a game-high 24 points for streaking Nanterre in the win, 99-87, over Orleans.
