Paris Basketball is having a historic season.

The club, founded in 2018, won its first European trophy by claiming the 2023/24 BKT EuroCup and will play in the EuroLeague next season. Additionally, they won their maiden French Leaders Cup this season. However, that’s not all.

After defeating Roanne in Round 33 of BetClic Elite 90-61, the team led by Tuomas Iisalo tied CSP Limoges’ 1989/90 record for 24 consecutive victories in all competitions.

Paris last lost on the road against SIG Strasbourg in Round 21 of the domestic championship on January 27th.

They are chasing another absolute Limoges record from the 1988/89 season when they achieved 29 wins in a row.

Anyway, with Nadir Hifi and T.J. Shorts scoring 16 points each, Paris improved to 26-7 in second place in the French championship standings, just two wins behind leading Monaco. As the second-seeded team, Paris will go to the playoffs.

What a season for Paris. And it’s not even over.
