Besiktas and Tofas announced that no players are showing coronavirus symptoms despite being in contact with Fenerbahce prior to the BSL lockdown, while they are being monitored and they will be tested if necessary, as the teams announced Saturday.

The Turkish League officially shut down Thursday after playing its last round behind closed doors last week, in which Tofas faced Fenerbahce for Round 23, while it was announced by the latter team that some players and members of the administrative staff will be tested after showing COVID-19 symptoms. Besiktas had also faced Fenerbahce on March 8, in BSL’s Round 22 game.

The Turkish Basketball federation also commented on the issue, stating that they are monitoring the situation closely.
