Fenerbahce survives Karsiyaka’s comeback, advances to BSL finals

Feisty Karsiyaka used a strong 11-0 run early in the fourth quarter to take the lead of the game, though Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul emerged with a 78-76 win, in the end, to reach the Turkish BSL Finals, where they will face Anadolu Efes Istanbul!

Melih Mahmutoglu led all scorers for Igor Kokoskov’s squad with 21 points, Danilo Barthel had 11 points and 8 rebounds and Nando De Colo posted 9, along with 4 assists.

Marko Guduric gave Fener a one-point lead with 50 seconds remaining in the game and Kyle O’Quinn converted one free throw after receiving a foul by Raymar Morgan to seal the final victory.

Skeeter Henry had 19 points for Karsiyaka, Morgan followed with 15 points and  7 rebounds and Tony Taylor had 10 points.
