Resuming the campaign in Turkey’s BSL, Anadolu Efes made short work of Frutti Extra Bursaspor to prevail, 82-63, Sunday.

Coming off solid showings in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and a weekly MVP nod, Will Clyburn stood out with 22 points in Turkey’s BSL Regular Season Round 19 contest. He made 7/10 from the field, including 4/6 from beyond the arc.

Croatian center Ante Zizic added 20 points to match his personal best for the 2022-23 season. Overall, the team guided by Ergin Ataman connected just under 54% of the field-goal shots marching to victory.

Chris Singleton, Tibor Pleiss, and Bryant Dunston did not dress as Turkey’s top division returned to action after one month and the devastating earthquakes. Nearing a return, Vasilije Micic (knee) stayed on the injury list alongside team captain Dogus Balbay (left hip surgery).

Knotted with Efes at 14-5, Pinar Karsiyaka defeated Tofas, 86-81, earlier Sunday. Mindaugas Kuzminskas scored 22 points with 8/9 field goals.

Fenerbahce strolls past Manisa

Completing Round 19, Fenerbahce Beko defeated Manisa, 92-78, to improve the league-leading record to 17-2 later Sunday.

Carsen Edwards tallied a team-high 16 points with 5/11 field goals. Dyshawn Pierre went for 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Johnathan Motley added 13 points and eight rebounds.

Nemanja Bjelica, Marko Guduric, Tyler Dorsey, Devin Booker, Nick Calathes, and Kostas Antetokounmpo were all scratched from the team coached by Dimitris Itoudis.

Francisco Cruz packed a game-high 18 points and O.D. Anosike posting a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double stood out for the visitors at Ulker Sports Arena.
