Fenerbahce edges out Galatasaray with Nicolo Melli and Tarik Biberovic

Fenerbahce Beko prevailed, 85-76, over Galatasaray MCT Technic in Turkcell Basketball Development Center.

After dropping a ten-point lead, the defending Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi champions restored a double-digit cushion down the stretch to jump to 3-1 in the 2025-26 Regular Season. Nicolo Melli and Tarik Biberovic shared a team-high 18 points, combining for a total of 13 points in the fourth quarter. On the wrong end, James Palmer Jr. recorded a game-high 20 points.

Jilson Bango, Brandon Boston Jr., Talen Horton-Tucker, and Arturs Zagars remained sidelined for the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius. In contrast, Armando Bacot returned to action with two points in 11 minutes. Following an injury setback in recent Basketball Champions League action, Errick McCollum sat out Sunday’s game against his previous team.

Earlier in Denizli’s Pamukkale Universitesi Spor Salonu, Speedy Smith netted 7/8 triples en route to 25 points, and Sam Griffin added 27 points as Yukatel Merkezefendi topped Trabzonspor, 84-75.

Anadolu Efes visited Karsiyaka in the last game of Round 4 and got a comfortable win 101-87. Shane Larkin was the best player for the Euroleague team, finishing the game with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
