Bennett the top scorer in Fenerbahce’s win

After playing for 7 minutes two weeks ago in the EuroLeague against Unics Kazan, Anthony Bennett made his BSL debut and in the domestic Turkish league was the top scorer of Fenerbahce with 16 points and also 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the easy 98-89 win over Usak.

Fenerbahce still leads the standings in the BSL with a 14-2 record, Usak is 14th in the 16-teams league with 5-11, still Bennett had his moments and proved that he can be an asset for the team. He stayed on the court for 25 minutes, made four of of eight field goals (3/4 2p.. 1/4 3p.) and he didn’t miss in seven free throws. James Nunally added 15 points, Ekpe Udoh had 14 and Kostas Sloukas 13 in a balanced offensive effort as the hosts had a 58-40 half time lead.

Shaquielle McKissic with 23 points, Rolands Freimanis with 23 and Zach Auguste with 16 tried their best against Fenerbahce.
