Thanks to a big shot and a goal foul by Gigi Datome who gave to his team a 87-84 lead with 1,5 minute left, Fenerbahce managed to prevail (97-92) with Nikola Kalinic sealing the deal and scoring 14 points.
After a bad first half, the hosts started the third period with an 11-0 run (59-46) and made the come back, cutting the lead of Gaziantep to one point (72-71) with seven minutes left. Bogdan Bogdanovic finished the game with 26 points, Jan Vesely scored 18 and 9 rebounds, while Datome had 19.
Davon Jefferson with 23 points and Marcus Haislip with 20 did the best they could for Gaziantep which remains eighth in the standings (13-13) while Fenerbahce leads the league with a 24-2 record.
