Sloukas sends Fenerbahce to Turkish Cup Final

Kostas Sloukas scored a team-high 18 points, including a crucial 3-pointer in the last seconds, as Fenerbahce defeated Turk Telekom 73 – 65 to advance in the Turkish Cup Final.

Fenerbahce will face defending champion Anadolu Efes for the title Sunday (17/2).

With the score 68 -65 and 15 seconds left to play, Sloukas drained the triple that made it a two-possession game. On the other end, Sylven Landesberg (18 points) missed a 3-point attempt and Fener’s win was sealed.

Sloukas also dished out five assists and grabbed four rebounds. Melih Mahmutoglu added 16 points for Fener that saw center Joffrey Lauvergne getting injured in the final minutes of the match.

Apart from Landesberg, Vladimir Stimac finished with 13 points and six rebounds for Turk Telekom.
