Moerman, Dunston lead Efes to 1-0 against Banvit

The game was balanced with the lead switching sides many times but Anadolu Efes took over in the fourth quarter and recorded an 81-72 home win over Banvit in the Game 1 of Turkish playoffs.

Adrien Moerman notched a double-double with 26 points and ten boards while Bryant Dunston banked 23 points and eight boards. Krunoslav Simon added 13 points.

For Banvit, Jordan Morgan nailed 20 points on 9-11 shooting while Davon Shelton scored 16 in addition to Sehmus Hazer’s 11 points.

Game 2 of the best-of-three series will be held on May 25 as Banvit tries to even things in front of their home crowd.
