The superior quality of CSKA Moscow prevailed over Astana in Game 3 of their quarterfinal series.
With a 91 – 73 road victory, the VTB defending champs swept and are now in the semifinals, waiting to find out their opponent between Unics Kazan and Lokomotiv Kuban (series tied 1 – 1).
Nando De Colo posted team-highs in points (18) and assists (8) for a minus Milos Teodosic CSKA while Vitaly Fridzon scored 14, Joel Freeland 13 and Dmitry Kulagin 12.
For Astana Rob Lowery dropped 20 points, dished out 6 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds. Osman Krubally added 15 and 9 rebounds.
