Joe Thomasson scored 21 points and dished out seven assists, Drew Gordon posted a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds for a game-high 32 PIR, as Zielona Gora beat Parma 106 – 88 at home to improve its VTB League record to 3-2.
Zielona Gora completed the game with a 33 – 24 partial score in the fourth period to reach the win without any problems.
This was the fourth loss in five games for Parma. Arnett Moultrie finished with 17 points and eight rebounds while Eigirdas Zukauskas had 17 points.
In the rest of the VTB games this week, Khimki Moscow remained the only undefeated team by beating Unics Kazan. CSKA Moscow made short work of Avtodor Saratov while a superb scoring output by Dusan Ristic pushed Astana to the upset over Zenit St. Petersburg.
