Barcelona edges Tenerife to book ACB semifinal clash with Real Madrid

With two minutes left on the clock, Lenovo Tenerife had a 92-90 lead, but Barcelona responded strongly and ended Game 2 of the ACB quarterfinals to advance to the next round.

Roger Grimau’s side finished the game with a 7-0 run, emerging victorious with a final score of 92-97, and booked a semifinal clash with Real Madrid.

In the end, Tomas Satoransky scored five of the crucial seven points and was Barca’s top scorer with 24 points.

Jabari Parker followed with 17, while Nicolas Laprovittola added 13. Rokas Jokubaitis contributed 11, and Jan Vesely finished the game with 10 points.

Bruno Fitipaldo led Tenerife with 20 points and seven assists, Sasu Salin followed with 17, while Marcelinho Huertas scored 12 and dished six assists in the last game of the season for the 2023/24 BCL runner-up.

Elgin Cook with 11 and Fran Guerra with 10 also ended up in double digits, while Kyle Guy played only 13 minutes and scored two points after a 34-point showdown in Game 1.
