Bonn destroys MHP Riesen for a solid 2-0 lead in German semifinals

Jeremy Morgan with 23 points led the way on a 94-65 triumph for Telekom Bonn in Game 2 of the German BBL semifinals against MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg.

After an 80-71 win in Game 1 with Basketball Champions League MVP TJ Shorts scoring 22 points, the Basketball Champions League winners demonstrated their superiority and are one step away from the BBL finals.

Game 2 proved to be even easier for Bonn. Javontae Hawkins added 15 points for the winning side which had an eight-point lead at halftime (44-36) and dominated the second half, as the guests scored 29 points in 20 minutes.

Shonn Miller with 11 points was the top scorer of MHP Riesen.

It has to be noted that ratiopharm Ulm is leading 2-0 in their semifinal series against Bayern and have more than a good chance to make it to the finals, after beating ALBA Berlin in the quarterfinals.
