UNICS parts ways with Errick McCollum

UNICS Kazan announced Sunday they have parted ways with guard Errick McCollum after two seasons.

McCollum, 32, was among the Russian team’s leaders during the past season, with an average of 17.1 points, 3.9 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 28:33 across 16 7DAYS EuroCup games. He was also included in the All-VTB League All-Imports Team for the past season.

The 2016 EuroCup champion with Galatasaray is multi-experienced around Europe, having played for Anadolu Efes (with which he won the Turkish Cup in 2018), Panionios and Apollon Patras among other teams.

Earlier in the day, UNICS announced the addition of guard Isaiah Canaan to their roster, with a 1+1 deal.
