Youngster Lefteris Mantzoukas in magnificent form

Shorthanded Promitheas lost to Herbalife Gran Canaria Wednesday, but the 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season Group D Round 6 game featured a promising player Lefteris Mantzoukas scoring a team-high 24 points behind 3/4 twos and 6/6 from beyond the arc. His breakout showing also resulted in a game-high 29 PIR.

In Spain, the 17-year-old forward, ANGT record-holder for most points scored in a single game, nearly doubled his personal-best in points at the senior level. His previous 24 first-team appearances, including eight EuroCup games, indeed provided an insight into his bright future but fell way short of his recent showing.
