Olympiacos forward Kostas Papanikolaou has been cleared to join his teammates’ preseason practices after fully recovering from coronavirus and passing the rest of the medical tests
Papanikolaou will be traveling to the town of Metsovo where the rest of the Olympiacos squad is preparing ahead of the 2019-2020 season. As the club announced, the player will follow a specifically modified training program to cover the lost ground and catch up with his teammates.
On August 8, Olympiacos announced that Papanikolaou tested positive for COVID-19. Following his recovery, the two-time EuroLeague champion and started individual practices on 22/8.
