Rokas Jokubaitis returns two negative COVID tests

Two last two coronavirus tests came back clean for Rokas Jokubaitis, Zalgiris Kaunas announced Monday. He was tested on Friday and today.

Jokubaitis, 19, will not be able to immediately rejoin the Lithuanian outlet. He will be cleared after completing the implemented 14-day window from the date he was found positive, October 30.

As noted by Zalgiris, he will also miss Thursday’s Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 8 road game versus Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv before getting fully back on track.

Martin Schiller’s player recently took his name out of consideration for the approaching 2020 NBA draft. Prior to his positive COVID-19 test, he managed to put up 7.4 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per game in a breakout start to the EuroLeague season.
