After a quite challenging recent period due to the COVID-19 positives in the team, Crvena Zvezda finally received some good news as, according to Mozzart Sport, Corey Walden has recovered from the virus and will travel with the squad to Kaunas for the EuroLeague clash against Zalgiris.

It remains to be seen in which capacity Walden will be able to help the team from the get-go but it’s certainly a significant boost in front of a busy schedule coming up.

Due to the coronavirus, Zvezda is still missing Quino Colom, Langston Hall, Landry Nnoko, and Duop Reath who contracted the virus later on. Additionally, the club parted way with Johnny O’Bryant who moved to Turk Telekom.

Crvena Zvezda sits near the bottom of the EuroLeague standings with a 7-17 record while they are fourth in the ABA League with 13-2.
