Marius Grigonis joins CSKA

Marius Grigonis has signed a deal with CSKA Moscow until the summer of 2024, the club announced. It’s the Russian team’s first addition in the offseason.

The 2017 Basketball Champions League champion and the Final Four MVP with Tenerife spent the past three seasons playing for Zalgiris where he also started off his career.

He won three Lithuanian League and two Mindaugas Cup trophies during the stint. The 27-year-old established himself as the irreplaceable leader of the squad and averaged 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists over 34 EuroLeague games this past season.
