Despite winning the Italian league championship title, there can be drastic changes in Virtus Bologna for next season. The team is in talks with coach Aleksandar Djordjevic, but on the other hand according to numerous reports, they also interested in luring coach Sergio Scariolo out of Toronto despite an offer to extend his contract with the Raptors.

However, there can be even more changes in the roster of the teams with Milos Teodosic leaving Italy, as Mozzarspot reported and Eurohoops sources confirm. With the summer market of point guards in the EuroLeague having few options, there’s interest from EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes and also from CSKA Moscow for the Serb maestro.

After all, Teodosic had a great season with Virtus Bologna both in the 7DAYS EuroCup and also in Legabasket, proving that he still can make a difference on the court. And while he signed a three-year contract back in 2019 after his return from the NBA and the LA Clippers, the deal includes a player option for this summer that can be used from Teodosic if he wants to move to another team.

With that being said, Teodosic may decide to remain in Italy for the next season and lead Virtus not only to the domestic league title but also to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague by reaching the EuroCup Finals.

A EuroLeague champion with CSKA Moscow back in 2016 and a EuroLeague MVP back in 2010 with Olympiacos, Teodosic remains a household name and a member of the Serbian national team.
