Moustapha Fall officially joins Olympiacos

Moustapha Fall signed a contract for the 2021-22 season including an option for the 2022-23 season to join Olympiacos, the Greek team announced Wednesday. The deal was previously reported by Eurohoops.

Fall, 29, is coming off a solid debut season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. He averaged 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.9 blocks per match with LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne.

He is expected in Greece on Wednesday. Consequently, he will not help ASVEL in the Final Four determining the 2021 Jeep Elite Pro A champion. He had 9.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per French league contest.

The French center previously played abroad in Turkey attached to Turk Telekom and Sakarya, and Russia with Lokomotiv Kuban.

He became the second summer addition for the Reds following Thomas Walkup inking a three-year contract.
