Olympiacos moves fast and has almost completed their roster before the summer market really opens. After the deal with Thomas Walkup, Eurohoops sources also confirmed that ASVEL’s center Moustapha Fall has a deal for a two-year (1+1) contract with Olympiacos, with both sides having opt-out clauses for the summer of 2022.

Fall will replace Octavius Ellis in the roster of the Greeks who also need a shooting guard in order to complete their main rotation. There’s still a question mark about the future of Vassilis Spanoulis who can remain a part of the team, plus Olympiacos is in talks with 23-years old guard Tyson Carter who had a breakout season with Lavrio in the Greek League, reaching the finals with Panathinaikos.

However, even with Spanoulis and Carter added, the Reds will probably sign one more rotation player who is expected to have a key role in their backcourt, providing one more scoring punch.

As for Fall, he had a slightly better financial offer on the table by Lokomotiv Kuban, but he decided that he wants to play for Olympiacos in the Euroleague next season. The deal is expected to become official after the end of the French league season.
