Elie Okobo hands ASVEL win over Le Mans

LDLC ASVEL just barely got the road win over Le Mans with 81-80 on the scoreboard after two game-winning free throws by Elie Okobo. Both teams now hold a 9-6 record.

ASVEL was on the verge of losing the game after gambling away a seven-point lead (71-64) and Kaza Kajami-Keane scoring two-pointer for Le Mans to turn things around (80-79). However, Okobo went strongly to the basket, drew a foul and secured the win for ASVEL with one second left on the clock.

Okobo was the leading scorer of the winning side with 13 points while Chris Jones scored 12 and James Gist ten points. Okobo also dished out seven assists.

For Le Mans, Dante Cunningham scored 15 followed by Kajami-Keane with 13 and TaShawn Thomas with 12 points. Kajami-Keane also dished out seven assists.
