With Tyler Dorsey being cut from the Mavericks, the first official offer waiting for him on the table came from ambitious Monaco.

The club which turned heads last season by signing Mike James wants to add Dorsey offering him 1,25M euros for the rest of the season.

It’s a contract that will put him in the upper echelon of the EuroLeague salaries, considering the fact that practically covers just six months of the season.

Having said that many EuroLeague clubs have expressed various levels of interest in the Greek-American player and more offers may be presented soon.

However, Monaco is an ambitious contender aiming at least for the Final Four and offering a salary that Dorsey never had in his past contracts.

Dorsey was with the Mavericks on a two-way contract and he played only three games this season in the NBA averaging 3.0 points in 2.7 minutes per game.

He was also a starter last season for Olympiacos, making it to the EuroLeague Final Four, averaging 11.4 ppg and 1,7 asp.
