After defeat to the arch-rivals Partizan Mozzart Bet in the ABA derby, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet will face Barcelona in Round 29 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, but without Ognjen Dobric.

The Serbian national team player got injured during the Belgrade derby and won’t be traveling to Barcelona.

Dobric can’t travel. We’ll see about Nedovic, everything else is in order. Lazic is also out of the team for a while now,” Crvena Zvezda’s head coach Dusko Ivanovic said before the trip.

Dobric played 26 games in the EuroLeague this season, averaging 8,9 points with 2,7 rebounds per game.

As Ivanovic mentioned, Nemanja Nedovic is also questionable. At the same time, it seems that the captain Branko Lazic, who last played against Alba in Round 25, also won’t be able to help the team.

Nedovic reported a problem with his hamstring during the loss to Panathinaikos last week. He couldn’t finish the derby against Partizan, leaving the court in the first half.

I tried to push through and play and stayed on the court as long as possible until I couldn’t extend my leg. We’ll see in what condition it is,” Nedovic said after the loss to Partizan in Round 21 of the ABA League.

After only one win in the last four games, Crvena Zvezda has a 12-16 score and probably has to win all the remaining games to qualify for the playoffs.
