Partizan Mozzart Bet’s and a Serbian national team player Aleksa Avramovic suffered what seems to be a season-ending injury during Game 3 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoffs against Real Madrid.

The 28-year-old guard broke his left hand after trying to stop Walter Tavares from scoring easy points and falling awkwardly. He traveled to Madrid on Friday and had a successful surgery in the Spanish capital.

He took to social media to update the public about the status of his injury and seemed to be in good spirits after the surgical procedure performed by Dr. Ignacio Roger de Oña, a specialist in hand and wrist surgery.

Thank you all for your words of support. The surgery was done yesterday, and everything went as well as possible. Thank you to the Partizan doctors, and thank you to the doctor Ignacio Roger de Oña, who performed the operation! I hope that the full recovery will go smoothly! Guys, I’m waiting for you in Madrid,” Avramovic wrote.

Partizan lost Games 3 and 4 in Belgrade and will play Real in Madrid on Wednesday (10/05) at 21.00 CET for a place in Final Four in Kaunas.

After missing the early chunk of the 2022-23 season with an injury to his right hand, the Serbian combo guard was limited to 23 appearances across the EuroLeague campaign. He tallied 6.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest. In AdmiralBet ABA League, he averaged 16.4 points, 3.5 assists, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game over 24 appearances.
