With TJ Shorts moving to Panathinaikos and Ergin Ataman confirming the news, Paris Basketball needs to move accordingly to the market, bringing to the French capital another backcourt leader.

According to Meridian Sport, the 2023-24 BKT EuroCup champions have now set their sights on Carsen Edwards, who is coming off a strong individual campaign in the EuroLeague. The 27-year-old guard has led the whole league in points per game at 20.4 per appearance.

In two games played against Paris Basketball this season, Carsen Edwards averaged 30.5 points per game, evidently leaving a great impression on the French club’s front office.

Before joining the German team, the 1998-born guard played in the EuroLeague with Fenerbahce, while previously he also had brief NBA opportunities with the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons.

Vasiliki Karamouza from SPORT24 previously reported that Crvena Zvezda was also strongly interested in bringing over the former Fenerbahce player.

However, it looks like the biggest target for the Serbian red-and-white powerhouse shifted to be Tyson Carter, as reported by both Chema de Lucas and Meridian Sport.
