Since moving to Malaga, Tyson Carter has been one of the most interesting and exciting guards to watch, both in the ACB and in the Basketball Champions League.
After being named BCL Final Four MVP with his contribution to Unicaja‘s back-to-back European triumph, winning the trophy in Athens against AEK, teams all throughout Europe have inserted him into lists of potential new assets to be brought on board.
According to both Chema de Lucas and Meridian Sport, the American guard has become one of the biggest targets of Crvena Zvezda, which is leading the race to bring him over from Malaga.
At the moment, the 27-year-old guard is playing in the ACB Semi-Finals against Real Madrid. This season, he put up 12.8 points and 4.3 assists per game in the Basketball Champions League.
He previously had the opportunity to debut in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2021-22, but only for a few games. The previous year, he debuted in Europe with Lavrio.
Crvena Zvezda is looking forward to strengthen the team following the elimination in the EuroLeague Play-Ins and in the ABA League Semi-Finals, falling short against Buducnost VOLI.
