With the EuroLeague season coming to an end and the transfer window at the first stage, teams are already preparing for the following campaign, looking forward to strengthening their squads.

One of the clubs that is on the market to boost their roster is Crvena Zvezda, which reached the EuroLeague Play-Ins and lost in the ABA League Semi-Finals to Buducnost VOLI, failing to reach the Finals against their fiercest rivals, Partizan Belgrade.

According to Vasiliki Karamouza from SPORT24, the red-and-white Serbian team is strongly pursuing an agreement with Carsen Edwards, who’s coming off a stellar season in the EuroLeague.

Averaging 20.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game with Bayern Munich, he was at the top of the seasonal scorers in points per game in the EuroLeague. In the first game of the Play-In showdown, where the Bavarians eliminated the Serbians, he scored 17 points.

Prior to his move to Germany in 2023, he played in Europe with Fenerbahce. In the 2023-24 season, he won the BBL-Pokal and the German Championship, being named Finals MVP in the Bundesliga.
