Kevarrius Hayes, the center of Monaco, has reportedly signed a two-year contract with Partizan and will be playing for the Serbian team in the continuation of his career.
According to Spanish Encestando, and later Serbian Mozzart Sport, Hayes will become part of Partizan for the upcoming season. Mozzart also reported that Hayes will sign a two-year contract, and he will earn one and a half million dollars per season.
This will certainly be a significant reinforcement for Joan Penarroya, who himself reportedly extended his contract with Partizan until 2028.
This season, Penarroya could count on Tonye Jekiri and Bruno Fernando in the center position, after Tyrique Jones’ departure to Olympiacos.
Kevarrius Hayes is a 29-year-old center who arrived in Europe in 2019 when he started playing for Cantù. He was also a member of ASVEL, then Bursaspor, Zalgiris, Paris, and Monaco, where he played this season. In about 17 minutes on average, he recorded 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in the EuroLeague for Monaco.
