American basketball player Saben Lee is on the verge of signing a two-year contract with Zalgiris.

It is clear that Zalgiris will undergo major changes in the team for the upcoming season. Sylvain Francisco is leaving Kaunas, and his possible replacement is current Anadolu Efes player Saben Lee.

Lee played last season for Olympiacos and then for Anadolu Efes. In the jersey of the Turkish team, he appeared in 16 EuroLeague games, averaging 11.2 points, 3.1 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game.

After finishing college at Vanderbilt, Lee spent two seasons with the Detroit Pistons, then with the Philadelphia 76ers, and he came to Europe from the Phoenix Suns.

His first club in Europe was Manisa, then he strengthened Maccabi Tel Aviv before returning to Manisa. From there he moved to Olympiacos, and in December 2025 he left for Anadolu Efes.
