LDLC ASVEL has reached an agreement with Sylvain Francisco, securing one of the most coveted guards on the European market, according to Eurohoops sources.
The French point guard is set to sign a contract worth €4 million per season, making it the most lucrative deal of his career and the largest contract in the history of French basketball.
Francisco arrives after a breakthrough campaign with Zalgiris Kaunas, where he established himself among the EuroLeague elite and earned a place on the All-EuroLeague First Team.
The dynamic playmaker was one of the competition’s standout performers throughout the season, ranking among the league leaders in both scoring and assists while tying for the most made three-pointers.
The move represents a major statement from ASVEL as the club looks to strengthen its roster following a disappointing season.
