Isaac Bonga has reached an agreement with Panathinaikos, according to sources close to the Greek club, and is expected to arrive in Athens to undergo medical examinations before being officially announced.

The German forward could complete his medicals alongside Brancou Badio, with the Senegalese guard also expected to arrive in the Greek capital today.

According to the report, Panathinaikos won the race for Bonga’s signature despite strong interest from several rival clubs. The 26-year-old is expected to sign a three-year contract worth €6.5 million.

Bonga will reunite with head coach Željko Obradović, under whom he played at Partizan for a season and a half, from the summer of 2024 until November 2025.

The 2.03-meter forward averaged 9.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and a 14.3 PIR in 38 EuroLeague appearances last season, playing in every game. Across four EuroLeague campaigns with Bayern Munich and Partizan, he has averaged 7.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 129 appearances.
