Crvena Zvezda wins, next stop Istanbul

The final score was 83-65 as the hosts scored 30 points in the second period, took control of the game and started the last quarter with a 9-0 run that made things easy.

The half time score was 40-31 in Zvezda’s favor, but after three minutes of play in the last period the hosts led by 17 points (66-49) and the game was over.

Marko Guduric (18 p.) and Milko Bjelica (19 p.) sealed the deal, still the Serbs need to beat Darussafaka Dogus next week in Istanbul in order to advance to the playoffs and that’s going to be the biggest game of the season for them in EuroLeague.

Zvezda led even by 21 points (75-54) as Unics Kazan at this point does not have anything to fight for and despite leading 14-10 after the first period, didn’t do much after that. Keith Langford once more was the top scorer of the losing side with 16 points.
