Roll joins Maccabi Tel Aviv

After opting out of his contract with Besiktas, Michael Roll officially became Maccabi Tel Aviv bound. He’ll be joining the Israeli club with a two-year contract.

The news were announced by his agent, George Dimitropulos, on Twitter.

Roll, 30, finished the season with Besiktas in Turkey, averaging 11.8 points, 4.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game in the Basketball Champions League.

In the Turkish Basketball Super League, Roll notched 11.1 points, 4.7 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game as Besiktas made it to the Finals.

With Maccabi Tel Aviv, the American swingman is expected to also make his EuroLeague debut.
