Zalgiris and CSKA Moscow prevailed, Unics beat Panathinaikos

Zalgiris Kaunas prevailed in Turkey over Tofas (78-71) in a game which will be remembered for coach Saras Jasikevicius’ ejection.

In the same tournament, Zenit St. Petersburg beat Anadolu Efes 78-68 despite 21 points by Ricky Ledo. In Spain, Barcelona was defeated 95-85 by Casla Basquet and Unicaja Malaga beat Guaros de Lara 106-76. Nemanja Nedovic shined with 20 points and 5 assists.

In Greece, CSKA Moscow beat Greek club Kimi at OAKA (81-60) with Corey Higgins scoring 12 points. In the game gym a few hours later, Unics Kazan beat hosts Panathinaikos 65-63 in the first game of Matt Lojeski with the Greens. Justin Denmon scored 15 points for the losing side and Quino Colom with 14 points was the scorer of Unics.
